Mandarin to be Federer’s fifth language (AP)
Roger Federer is ready to add Mandarin to the four languages he already speaks. Federer is in China for the Shanghai Masters tournament. He’s using his free time to take a lesson in Mandarin. The third-ranked Swiss player also speaks German, French and English. Federer admitted he found it “hard” but thought he showed persistence.
